THE CHAMPAGNE ROOM
The Westin Book Cadillac is a place of many firsts. The first celebration was in 1924 when the Book Cadillac opened as the tallest hotel in the world. The occasion was marked with an endless offering of champagne & in that spirit, 24grille introduced the first Champagne Bar to the Book Cadillac & Detroit.
Our Champagne Bar & Private Dining Room accommodates as many as 20-30 guests for your special event. The intimate space adjoins our main dining area, perfectly fit for social gatherings, board meetings or celebrations of any kind.
Since its opening, the Book-Cadillac has opened its doors to the likes of Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Martin Luther King Jr. & John F. Kennedy. It has become legend that “Old Blue Eyes” would arrive at the Book and order two bottles of Champagne for his waiting guests.
