Champagne Bar
wes3001ex.72566_lgThe Westin Book-Cadillac Hotel is a place of many firsts. The first celebration at the Book was the 1924 Grand Opening as the tallest hotel in the world. The occasion was marked with an endless offering of champagne. Now 24grille has brought the Book and Detroit its first Champagne Bar, with seating for 16, featuring more than 30 Moët Hennessy products by the glass or bottle. The cozy bar adjoins the main restaurant and blends quiet elegance with traditional sophistication. Since its opening, the Book-Cadillac has opened her doors to the likes of Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Martin Luther King Jr. and John F. Kennedy. It has become legend that "Old Blue Eyes" would arrive at the Book and order two bottles of Champagne for his waiting guests.A toast - to our famous guest, our infamous guest, and our first-time guests: "Too much of anything is bad, but too much champagne is just right." AXL | 6

In this classic style American pale ale, hops grab the center stage and carry the flavor with a light, drying, citrucy palate. Although hoppy, this beer is easy drinking and contains mid-range alcohol.

Cornerstone IPA | 6

This unfiltered ale is one of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. This beer is dry hopped with a combination of English and American hop varieties for a wonderfully aromatic finish.

Milkshake Stout | 6

A sweet, stout style ale that combines four different malts along with a low hop level creating a deep, dark, beer featuring rich, roasted flavors. The addition of lactose (milk sugar, thus the name) adds complexity, body, and a residual sweetness that lends to a smooth, creamy texture to this delightfully full-flavored brew.

Full Circle | 6

A kolsch style beer. Soft, well rounded malt character, light hop profile, and a crisp clean finish. Great thirst quencing beer.

ESB Amber | 6

A British style Extra Special Bitter with an even blanace of malt and hops.

Final Absolution | 8

Dragonmead's signature product. This is the ultimate Belgian style. The very high gravity of this beer is balanced by the smoothness of its finish. Banana and Clove aromas come from the Belgian yeast strain combining with the generous dose of Begian Candi Sugar. The Saaz hops help to give this beer a balanced bitterness with no noticeable hop aroma.

Smitten | 6

Golden Rye Ale. The combination of sharp citrus and resinous flavors from the hops with the earthy, rustic overtones of the rye malt contribution yield an interesting take on the American pale ale.

Stella Artois | 7

A malty middle and crispy finish reveal the full, pleasantly bitter flavor that Stella Artois is known for and what makes it an ideal accompaniment for a variety of cuisines from around the world.
